The Buildings Manager from a Dartford theatre contacted us. He wanted to talk about the theatre's fire doors.
The theatre is one of our existing clients. We already look after their intruder alarm, fire alarm and access control systems.
A site survey revealed that three of their fire doors had reached the end of their life cycle.
The doors were old and worn out from frequent use. They were compromising the safety of the theatre's customers. So they needed replacing.
The Buildings Manager asked us to provide a quotation to replace like for like. And for the doors to be certified.
FIRE DOORS WITH ADDED FIRE STOPPING
We replaced the three existing doors with new certified fire doors and frames.
The doors came ready to be painted. And were fitted under BM Trada third-party certification.
We also followed the manufacturer's instructions to carry out Fire Stopping around the backs of the frames.
WORKING WITH THE THEATRE'S SHOW SCHEDULE
The work on the Fire Doors was carried out over two days. We worked with the theatre and around their show schedule.
