Go to the NSI website - http://www.nsi.org.uk/ - look for the Find a company button in the top right corner (see image). And then do the following:
If the company in question is accredited and on the NSI register, they are qualified to do the job and you're good to go. How easy is that?
In the example for Blake Fire and Security Systems, the search failed to return the correct result. You have to use the exact copy used in the database when searching by name.
To find Blake you need to use an ampersand rather than the word and - "&" not "and". So you will get a result searching for Blake Fire & Security Systems.
This is why you need the address as well as the name of the company you are checking up on. In the example, searching by Town/Postcode gets the right result.
