The facilities manager of a well-known Mexican restaurant chain contacted us about installing a new intruder alarm system at one of their sites in West Hampstead, London.
SITE SURVEY & ASSESSMENT
During our initial talks with the client, they explained that the restaurant was currently undergoing renovation works in a busy part of town. This meant that multiple contractors entered and exited the building at all hours, and it was difficult for our client to monitor all the comings and goings. Our client wanted to ensure that their premises were always well protected.
We were asked to install a fully compliant intruder alarm system that would provide full coverage across the entire restaurant. The quotation also included annual maintenance and monitoring. This would ensure the alarm system ran smoothly throughout the year. And year after year.
TEXECOM - TRIED AND TRUSTED SECURITY
We installed a new Texecom Elite intruder alarm system in the restaurant, complete with a panel, keypad, passive infrared sensors (PIRs), door contacts and a panic button… for maximum protection and security.
HOW INTRUDER ALARMS WORK
Passive infrared sensors use a pair of pyroelectric sensors to detect heat. The sensors are positioned beside each other, and when there is a change in the signal between them, (like when a person enters the room) the sensor will trigger the alarm.
CSL DUALCOM MONITORING FOR EXTRA SECURITY & PEACE OF MIND
For extra security, we also set up CSL Dualcom monitoring on-site. The CSL Dualcom system sends an automated signal to the police when a genuine alarm is triggered, adding an extra level of security and reassurance. The CSL Dualcom system uses a combination of a fixed telephone line, and GPRS to ensure that signalling the police is always possible, even when telephone lines have been compromised.
