We want to put your mind at ease by explaining what actually happens during a free survey.
Perhaps you are a little hesitant to fill out our form to request a free site survey because you don't quite get what you're signing up for. We understand!
Our professional process starts from the first point of contact and goes through to the installation and beyond.
Here's what we do, and why it's important.
Maybe you have already spoken to another security installer who has offered you a quote directly over the phone and are wondering why we don't do the same?
Well, any company can quote you a 'One Size Fits All' security system. However, an NSI Gold accredited company will send a qualified engineer to your home to assess all of the details before quoting you for a bespoke security system tailored to your needs.
The thing is, unlike some companies, we're not satisfied by offering you the first product off the shelf, taking your money and being done with it. We have a responsibility to conform to certain industry standards that offer you:
We will get back to you within 24 working hours (so if you sign up over the weekend, you'll hear from us on Monday).
One of our friendly, qualified managers will call you to discuss your requirements and arrange a mutually convenient date and time for your survey.
Or, you can give us a call directly on 01702 447800 to speak to a member of our friendly team!
Usually, our surveyors are available to visit you from Monday - Friday during regular working hours.
Unless you need to call us and rearrange, the next point of contact will be when a surveyor visits you.
On the arranged date and time, our surveyor will arrive as agreed.
Depending on the size of your property and the system you require, they could be with you anywhere between 30 minutes and an hour, but sometimes longer if you have any extra security requirements.
For example, if you live in a large house and require additional CCTV, door entry system and automatic gates, you can expect it to take significantly longer than if you lived in a small bungalow and just needed a burglar alarm.
Another factor that contributes to the length of your survey is whether you have any questions for us to answer at the end.
Our surveyor will stay with you until he is happy that he has assessed all of your needs, such as:
Once our surveyor has explained all of the options and you are happy, he will return to our head offices in Southend-on-Sea and, using the information learned from the home survey, devise a quote for a bespoke security system that is tailored to your specification and budget.
We aim to get your quote back to you within the week. If for any reason there should be a delay, we will contact you to let you know about this.
We never leave you in the dark!
Once you receive your quote, the ball is in your court. If you are happy to go ahead, you simply give us a call and arrange an installation date and time.
Our free site surveys are one of the quality management processes we follow as part of our NSI Gold accreditation.
NSI Gold is a highly valued accreditation across the entire security and fire industry and is recognised and respected by the Police, Fire and Rescue services and the Insurance industry across the UK.
As we mentioned earlier, any company can give you a quote over the phone without surveying your home first. However, that means you're being quoted for a 'standard package' that may not have all of the features you need. Or, on the other hand, you could be oversold with unnecessary equipment!
