I started working for
Blake Contractors when it was still known as Blake Electrical back in 1994.
During this period I completed a 4 year Apprenticeship, gaining a lot of onsite experience.
From there, as a fully qualified Electrician, I started on the path to project management covering
commercial, industrial, educational and
domestic projects. I then was given my current role of
Manager of the Emergency Lighting department for Blake Fire & Security Systems.
My engineers are all qualified electricians and so often help out with electrical work for other departments, like
Access Control or
Automatic Gates, Barriers or Bollards.
Today. I enjoy my job thoroughly as it allows me to guide our clients in the standards and regulations that should be In place on their premises to making it a safe environment for all.
Since 2020 I have also been responsible for making sure that the CCTV Department provides the best service for our
domestic and
commercial customers.
